Check out a local Alumni

Since graduating in 2011 with a major in Graphic Design and dual minors in fine art and advertising, Ashley Smith has had the pleasure of working with fantastic people in the advertising community of Jacksonville. She cut her teeth on the Floridian View Magazine where she had her photography published in the Travel, Food, and Lifestyle sections of the magazine. She was also awarded a semifinalist status for her infrared photography in the Adobe Design Awards as one of the final five selected from over 500 submissions.

Since then, she's been moving on up through the ranks at various advertising firms where she's had the pleasure of working with some notable clients like Winn-Dixie, where she photographed and designed the Local Produce Campaign alongside her Art Director Tiffany Biziewski, another Flagler Design dept. graduate. She's also worked with some notable clients such as the Jacksonville Jaguars, BMW, BUBBA Burger, and Swisher International, to name a few.

"The thing I miss most about Flagler is the people." Ashley says. "I've made some fantastic friends that I still stay in touch with, and have learned so much from my teachers and friends along the way."

Ashley can be spotted around Jacksonville with her pup Pockets at the farmer's market, biking with her friends, visiting the tattoo shop,or playing rugby with the Jacksonville Sinners.
